CMC Vellore Honors Global Health Expert

CMC Vellore has announced that Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, MD, has been chosen to deliver the 13^th Annual Dr. Ida S. Scudder Humanitarian Oration.

Her topic for the December 6^th oration is “Equity and Access: The Case of Tuberculosis.” Dr. Swaminathan, a pediatrician, is a globally recognized expert in tuberculosis, research in infectious diseases such as HIV, and public health.

CMC scheduled the live online presentation of her oration for 7:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, December 6^th. Online access to the lecture for those who can’t watch it on the sixth will be announced at a later date.
