History of Scudder Philanthropy
The Scudder Association Foundation’s commitment to Philanthropy has a 200+ year history and continues today with a strong focus on serving others through health and education initiatives.
Educational Grant Scholarships
The Scudder Association was founded largely to provide financial assistance to those Scudders and their colleagues serving in medical services overseas.
CMC Vellore
CMC Vellore was founded by an American, Dr. Ida S. Scudder. Born in South India in 1870, she spent most of her childhood in the US and was educated there.

We have built shelter homes in different regions so children can move out of undeveloped areas to live, study and work in bigger and better cities.

Children and youngsters who are exploited in their early days need a helping hand and support for their mental health. We take them out of this zone to give them a better life.

The underprivileged children do not have access to required financial help and resources needed to live the life of their dreams. We help them with everything they’ll need to live their dreams.
